AS Datel is among the first IT companies founded after the re-establishment of Estonia’s independence. After having started its activity in 1990 by offering computer systems and software, the company has, by now, accomplished a leading position for the solution of most difficult tasks in the sector tailored software solutions, in the IT area as well as in the Estonian sales and rental market of presentation tools. Datel has developed the software for a number of basic registries including the land information system and the building registry, citizen’s portals, web-based public services etc. In addition to the creation of work-intensive information systems Datel also provides smaller-scale services in the IT field and as well deals with the sales of computers and presentation tools.
The business activity of the Company is divided into three larger groups: software development, solutions for information and communication based infrastructure and presentation tools.
AS Datel’s clients are governmental and municipal institutions, companies, cultural institutions and public authorities who need IT and communication products and complete solutions for their activities and their offices.
Datel provides work to 70 people, the turnover of the company has steadily grown and has already reached 100 million EEK for a number of years. |
