Datel received an ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate for it’s production and service system.

The certificate was issued after auditing Datel quality systems by Det Norske Veritas Eesti.

The whole project for implementing the quality system was planned for unprecedented short period of time - only 8 weeks - and was completed precisely by schedules. The project was directed and assisted by Business Grain consulting and was supported by Enterprise Estonia foundation.

By words of Kai Abram, a consultant from Business Grain, such a quick success was possible only because the quality system in fact already existed in DATEL and the actual scope of the project was merely tuning it to meet ISO 9001 conventions. Still, it was a really tough effort in such a short time.

"It was a privilege to run so challenging project in such an excellent partnership and teamwork," Dmitri Sädus, the project manager, was still able to say when receiving the certificate.
